Getting Shot
Bang! went the side by side shot gun.
I saw Luke at the Anzac Parade.
I felt nervous when putting the Room 8 Wreath on the War Memorial.  I was thinking about my Great Grandad when he fought in the Army.

Anzac Day
On Anzac Day I wore my Great Great Grandad’s medals.  They were very cool.  We sung the National Anthem.  I saw Seth P. at the parade.

Annie's mum brought along a pet baby oppossum to school.  It was very little and didn't have much fur.  Annie found it in its mother's pouch after the mother had died.  It likes to curl into a little ball and it has a very curly tail!
ANZAC stands for Australia, New Zealand Army Corps.  Anzac day is on 25th April every year.  This is the date the Anzacs landed to fight at Gallipoli in 1915.  Many soldiers died and we remember them on Anzac Day.  We wear red poppies like the ones that grow in Flanders Field.  The Anzac Service will be held in Outram at 11am.  Hope to see you there.

Bridgette is our Junior Syndicate Super Star this week.  Bridgette is a wonderful role model in room 8 and always tries her best.  She is super at doing extra home learning as well.

Easter Bunny Visits Room 8!

Thank you to Emily and her mum for making yummy easter treats for the class just before Easter.   You look so cute!
